"Off the beaten path" in the Financial District, this chainster with "generously sized" suites and a "free buffet breakfast" "caters to conventions", but is "great" for families as well (there are "two outstanding playgrounds nearby" and lots of space to spread out); while the "location is a bit of a challenge" and the decor "kind of generic", you'll get "accommodating" service and, if you're lucky, a room "overlooking the Hudson."

Service was excellent, breakfast was very tasty even though it was busy.
They charge for using WiFi in the room. Subway and parking about a 10 minutes walk, and I didn't like that the maid service knocked on the door about 8 AM.
Beautiful accommodations, wonderful hot breakfast with lots of choices. Didn't like that the maid service knocked on the door at 8 AM to see when we were leaving. It would have been nice if the hotel had shuttled us back from the self park (especially since they offer every other service imaginable, long cold, walk.) ...read more
